How to get to Yachana Lodge?

Fly to the Amazon

Start your journey with a flight from Quito to the Francisco de Orellana Airport, in the city of Coca. From there, the journey will begin toward one of the best-preserved forests in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Approximate duration: 2 hours.

Recommended airlines: LATAM and Aeroregional.

Land transfer

From Coca you will continue by land to the meeting point at Pucuno River. During the journey, the landscape changes gradually until you enter the Amazon environment.

The start of the experience

Our team will receive you at Pucuno River to help you with your luggage. You will cross the river in a motorized canoe (approximately 5 minutes) and, on the other side, a chiva safari will take you through the jungle to Yachana Lodge. The adventure begins before arriving at the lodge.

Arrival at Loreto City

Travel by interprovincial transportation from your city to the city of Loreto.

Transfer to the meeting point

Upon arriving in Loreto, take a taxi to the meeting point at Pucuno River.

• Approximate time: 30 minutes.
• Referential fare: USD 15 per way.

The start of the experience. Our team will receive you at Pucuno River to help you with your luggage. ROUTE TO PUCUNO RIVER

Drive from any city in Ecuador following the route to our meeting point at Pucuno River. We recommend using any of these navigation applications to arrive without inconvenience:

ARRIVAL AT THE MEETING POINT

Upon arriving at the Pucuno River Sector, you can leave your vehicle in a secure parking lot with 24-hour surveillance, used daily by Yachana Lodge guests. Our team will be waiting to receive you, help you with your luggage, and accompany you during the reserve entry process.

RIVER CROSSING AND ARRIVAL AT THE LODGE

From Pucuno River you will make a short crossing in a motorized canoe of approximately 5 minutes. Upon disembarking, you will board our traditional chiva safari, which will travel along a path surrounded by Amazon forest to reach Yachana Lodge in approximately 30 minutes. From that moment, your experience in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon begins.
